Baby Ferber news

A note from happy mom Nadine:

Hi Fam,
It was an unexpected surprise but I heard the baby's heartbeat and my Dr. even did an ultrasound today. Some of you know I already posted a pic on facebook but for those of you who don't check facebook, I've attached the ultrasound.
The Dr. says everything looks great!!! The baby's heartbeat was beating a mile a minute...and he was swimming around like an Olympian! It was all very exciting!
I am so happy because I've been so worried about the little babe. It was great to see Baby Ferber and hear him :) Thank you all for your prayers!
Love you!!
Hugs & Kisses

Lint vs. Lent

Izzy was trying to distinguish these two words today. Thought it was kind of funny.

I Just Love This Picture

Our week without dad

Girls have adjusted well with dad out of town this week. They are sticking to their chores (with encouragement); spending a lot of time listening to the "Chronicals of Narnia" radio theater; staying on task with homework; and looking forward to a couple birthday parties this weekend.

We also continue to memorize our Lenten prayer together at dinner and need a little extra push for that morning prayer routine we started and Ben kept going. Maybe tomorrow morning?!

That time change really seemed to throw us off and this morning was the first that the girls woke up in time to do the normal things to get ready for the day.

I don't remember the last time a time change didn't impact us for at least a week.

Looking forward to Sunday evening with the man of the house back in the saddle.
